University of Wyoming and the Wyoming Department of Agriculture present:
Initial Commercial Pesticide Applicator Training
Pesticides are an important tool for use in the protection of plants, livestock, fiber, food, human and animal health & structures. A commercial pesticide applicators license grants the licensee the ability to purchase and apply restricted and general use pesticides and receive payment for services. This course is open to anyone 18 years of age or older interested in possessing a commercial pesticide applicators license. The Initial Commercial Pesticide Applicator Training Course is offered by the University of Wyoming as an agent of the Wyoming Department of Agriculture. The program is designed to educate potential new license holders in the proper handling and use of pesticides and provide the opportunity to become licensed in the State of Wyoming.
This program is designed for new applicators seeking a commercial license however, individuals wishing to recieve CEU's towards thier existing license can also attend and will recieve 24 CEU's if they attend the entire program.
Registration for all is to be completed On-line. Review the ticket type options below. If you are registering a group of individuals be certain to register each individual by name. DO NOT enter information for yourself if you are NOT attending the program. Name badges will be generated on information you enter while registering.
We ask that all participants register by Friday December 8th.
The registration fee is $250.00 + $14.74 processing fee.
If you are registered and unable to attend, request for refunds will be processed until the last day of class.
University of Wyoming Students interested in taking the class must register through the normal University of Wyoming course registration process. This class is offered as PLNT1150. If you are registering after October 1st you must petition the Office of the Registrar to attend. Visit Knight Hall Room 167 or telephone 766-5272 for more information.
License Application Fee
There is an additional $25 license application fee* payable to the Wyoming Department of Agriculture (WDA) once you pass exams.
The WDA can only accept cash or check for this fee.
*Fee Exemption: The $25 license application fee is waived for all city, county, state, or federal employees.
Training Fees are not exempt for anyone participating in the program.

It is highly recommended that you purchase a Wyoming Commercial Pesticide Applicator CORE Manual. The manual is a resource and study guide for the exams. The likelyhood of you passing your exams increases significantly if you read the manual prior to class and taking the exam.
It is also recommended that you purchase category manuals in the areas you wish to be certified.

Those ordering Manuals at least 10 days prior to class will recieve them through the mail.
Please bring your manuals, writing utensil, note pad, and calculator - use of a cell phone while taking the exam will be an automatic failure.
